What’s “World Entrepreneurs Convention”
Ethnic Chinese businessmen from all over the world(Executives of Chinese ancestry） got together and they discussed about establishing economic networks and focused on the revitalization of Ethnic Chinese and Decent Chinese economics; Whose purpose is that contribute to economic development for the host country. In 1991, at that time, Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew Republic of Singapore advocated the implementation, and then Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention took part of organizer for the three countries; Singapore, Hong Kong, and Thailand. After that, we consider the host countries from all over the world every 2 years. In 1999, above 3 countries’ Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention comprised International Bureau (6 year permanent installation term), and the first International Bureau was settled at Singapore Chinese Entrepreneurs. The International Bureau has been settled into Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong (Chairman Huo Zhen Huan (霍震寰）since 2005.

Host and Sponsor Organization
Hosting “the 9th world Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention” is Japan Chinese Chamber of Commerce in Japan which is Chinese Entrepreneurs Organization in the host country, Japan.（describe later about outline of the organization policy）
We consider the convention scale and importance that will be held in Japan in view of the circumstances, we were given certification to plan and/or manage for the convention after we established the organization committee on November 1st 2005.
We received assistances from ministries concerned between Japan and China, Each field, such as an economic world, scientific community culture community. In addition, we received celebration from municipal corporations Kansai area including Osaka, economic organizations, and especially Kobe which is the host city.
Background of bidding for Kobe
In the Hanshin-Awaji huge earthquake disaster reconstruction process in 1995, we did attraction activities while having helped Ethnic Chinese and Decent Chinese organizations in all of Japan, Kobe city, and Hyogo city. After that, it decided to hold the 7th convention 2003 in Japan, and then the 8th Seoul convention in October 2005 took over the role with the Meeting flag.
The 9th world Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention will be started on 15th September 2007 in Kobe and it will close on 17th September in Osaka.
Construction of support organization
Following the concept ‘Private Sector Platform (民間平台)’, organizing committee conducts all events individually as an organization of private sector.
However, we think “the 9th world Chinese Entrepreneurs Convention” and the related events will be supported by this host country and area. Because of those supports, we could have more effective activities and we wish we could receive helps from ministries concerned and organizations from not only Japan but also overseas.
Furthermore, we could establish supporting groups with all promoters who backup our organization committee.
We wish many people who are well known in each field, such as the political world, the business world, academic circles, a man of culture, and sports field to join us and hopefully, we will have various help in order to improve in the contents, organizing committee and improve in the notability of our activities and also our organization.
